General Notice

Nesbit Water Association, Inc., (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
CONTRACT "A" - HWY 51 WELL

The Project includes the following Work:
Construction of a 1,000 GPM water supply well.

Sealed bids for the construction of Contract "A" - Hwy 51 Well, will be received by Nesbit Water Association, in the Water Association's office located at 901 Pleasant Hill Road, Nesbit, Mississippi 38651, until 10:00 A.M. local time on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, and shortly thereafter publicly opened and read. Bids are requested for a single prime contract. The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder for the Base Bid.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Contract Documents are available in paper or digital format. Interested parties are required to register online to view or order bid documents at www.danielsassocbids.com. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. Bids must be submitted in sealed paper format. Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposals will not be considered in making the award. Nesbit Water Association reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids if considered not in the best interest of Nesbit Water Association.

Instructions to Bidders.
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Dacuments. ARPA Provisions Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors, and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the ARPA Rural Water Associations Infrastructure Grant (RWAIG). Neither the State of Mississippi, the Local Governments and Rural Water Systems Improvements Board, nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with RWAIG Program Regulations.
