The City of Oxford, (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
WATER DISTRIBUTION IMPROVEMENTS THACKER HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION
The Project includes the following Work: The potable water project consists of installation of 3,310 linear feet of 12" diameter ductile iron pipe; 3,160 linear feet of 8" diameter ductile iron pipe; 1,720 linear feet of %" and 1" diameter service lines; 783 linear feet of miscellaneous service bores; and associated valves, fire hydrants, fittings, and appurtenances.
Sealed or electronic bids for the construction of Water Distribution Improvements / Thacker Heights Subdivision, will be received by the City of Oxford, in the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 107 Courthouse Square, Oxford, Mississippi 38655, until 11:00 o'clock A.M. local time on Friday, June 14, 2024, and shortly thereafter publicly opened and read.
Bids are requested for a single prime contract. The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder for the Base Bid.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Contract Documents are available in paper or digital format. Interested parties are required to register online to view or order bid documents at www.oxfordmsbids.com. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website.
Bids may be submitted in either sealed paper format or electronically. Electronic bid submittal may only be made through www.oxfordmsbids.com. Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposals will not be considered in making the award.
The City of Oxford reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids if considered not in the best interest of the City of Oxford, Mississippi.
